Investigation of Mechanical Behavior and Microstructure Analysis of AA7075/SiC/B4C-Based Aluminium Hybrid Composites

The microstructure and mechanical properties of an MMC based on AA 7075 strengthened through silicon carbide (SiC) as well boron (B4C) elements were studied. (SiC + B4C) combination was used in various weight percentages 4, 8, 12, 16% to create the hybrid composites utilizing traditional stir casting procedure. XRD SEM measurements investigate dispersion reinforced particles. For example, microhardness, impact strength, ultimate tensile strength measured at room temperature. density porosity materials also researchers found that increasing percentage mixture resulted a small drop % elongation. However, comprising reduction showed some decrease hardness strength. Equated unreinforced alloys, rise by 8% 21%, respectively. Reinforcement density, increase porosity.
